Virgin Hair

 

Having “Virgin” hair has nothing to do with sex, directly. Look up the word: virgin. 
The word in most cases means unused, untreated, never used, never processed, etc.

Whether it is hair, sex, olive oil or anything else: if it says virgin, it usually means some common step, process, 
or stage has not been taken at that point in time and as such can be more valuable, 
in newer condition, or less likely to cause the applicable problem (s), limitations, et cetera,
associated with use or processing, as commonly applicable in that field.

Gold Beater Skin

Gold beater's skin, the prepared outside membrane of the
large intestine of the ox, used for separating the leaves 
of metal during the process of gold-beating.

 This is the skin mentioned in some of the old instruction books.

I really do not know how it was used exactly in hairwork.

Guidelines for Wigs

There is not any set circumstance when selling your hair through my site. When your ready to sell it you post and ad and you will get several interested buyers. You just use you own judgment and sell you hair to the highest bidder or to whom every you please. If you donate or sell your hair for cancer patients they have some guide lines of which are listed below. I am sure that anyone who will buy your hair for a wig would follow these guidelines or something similar as well.

  1. We accept 10" minimum hair length (tip to tip), not wigs, falls, or synthetic hair
  2. Please bundle hair in ponytail or braid.
  3. Hair needs to be clean, dry, placed in a plastic bag, then padded envelope.
  4. We need hair from men and women, young and old, all colors and races.
  5. Hair may be colored or premed, but not bleached or chemically damaged (if unsure, ask your stylist).
  6. Hair swept off the floor is not usable.
  7. Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.
  8. Hair that is short, gray, or unsuitable for children will be separated from the ponytails and sold at fair market value to offset the cost of manufacturing.
  9. You may pull curly hair straight to measure the minimum 10".
  10. The majority of all hair donated comes from children who wish to help other children.
  11. Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails for donation.
  12. Please note: Anyone can cut your hair as long as the above guidelines are followed.
